One day, an especially good looking guy (like, really good looking) made fun of him. Ugly man decided he could take it no more and ran to a nearby river to cry. He poured his heart out to the fish in the river, but seeing how ugly he was, they swam away.
He poured his heart out to a swarm of bees, but seeing how ugly he was, they immediately migrated their hives.
He poured his heart out to a tree, the tree died.
Just when he thought there was no one else in the world to comfort him, he heard a whisper, and it was the kindest, most heart-warming whisper in the world. All that was whispered was this: hey.
Ugly man looked around, and was bewildered to find a caterpillar staring directly up at him from a leaf. The caterpillar was smiling and smiling, such a happy thing it was.
With tears still streaming down his face, ugly man replied
H-H-Hello..
And then Caterpillar said,
Cheer up! Everyone can be beautiful, just like me! Watch me! See you soon!
And with that, the caterpillar disappeared into its cocoon.

hahaha. it has a moral though! THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS: don't just disappear into a cocoon cuz it'll get you killed.
